I thought that the interviews themselves actually went well—I had a brief call with a recruiter and then 2 in-person interviews at Healthcare Realty's office, each about 1-1.5 hours. Their team seemed eager to fit in all of my interviews within a couple of weeks, but then the recruiter called a few days after my final interview and said that they had decided not to fill the role at all.
It would have been less disappointing if something genuinely out of their control had come up that prevented them from hiring for the position, but the reason they gave was a merger that they knew was happening before I even came in for my first interview. So had they just waited a few extra weeks before posting the job to make sure that they were actually going to hire someone, they wouldn't have wasted their own time or the time of any potential candidates.
When I reached out to the recruiter (who told me to let her know if I had any questions) to try to understand what had happened, I got ghosted. So despite enjoying the conversations with the people I actually interviewed with, it ended up being a very frustrating situation.
If you decide to interview here, you might want to triple-check at the beginning of the process that they're certain they're even going to fill the role.

Applied to the position on line after being recommended for the position by two friends (connections within the company). I received a phone call from the company to come in for initial meet and greet/interview. I arrived at interview 20 minutes early and was thoroughly prepared. Interview went exceptionally well and after I left I sent a thank you email later that afternoon. Three days later I followed up with a 30-60-90 day plan of personal goals for myself (in regards to the company) if I were to get hired. After not hearing anything from the company, I followed up with twice with phone call and once through email. They finally responded with a generic system automated email that they had given the position to a better qualified candidate. This was for an entry level graphic design position... I have a full portfolio and a 4 year BFA degree with the focus being in graphic design.
