I was told my resume was "impressive" and went to first and second interviews. They made me feel like I was perfect for the job and a top candidate. They asked me to be patient with the hiring process. I suspended my job search waiting 3 weeks for an offer that never came. After repeatedly discussing the technical aspects of the job (which I extensive skills) I was told I was rejected because the job was focused on outbound sales. There were zero interview questions about my sales experience so I had no idea it was a telemarketing job.
