Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. Acudí a una entrevista en Headspace (Santa Monica, CA) en ago 2016
Entrevista
The process consisted of initial phone screen, video interview, and then a day of onsite interviews. The conversations focused on different areas such as analytics, leadership, culture fit, and product sense. I did not get an offer but I really enjoyed the people who I spoke with.

If given a team of engineers for a month, what would you build at Headspace and why?
I made it to the final round, and overall, this interview process felt pretty long – 8 different conversations, with one larger take-home assignment in there. Most of the interviews (aside from the presentation of the assignment) were pretty short – around 30 minutes. While I appreciate not taking up too much candidate time, I often felt these conversations were a little rushed and surface level. I think closer to 45 mins would be much better to allow adequate time to represent yourself in the small snapshot that we get during the interview process.

The overall process was a recruiter screen, phone screen, then onsite.
Everyone I met was super nice. The interview itself was also fairly well coordinated and I had a good idea of what to expect. My only concern meeting with the team is that this company cleary has some organizational issues. The questions seemed very targeted towards the issues they were currently having such as "what would you do if sales, customer success, etc. all wanted something from eng. how do you handle that".
My other concern was that the interviewers were very inexperienced interviewers. I suppose it was meant to be more "casual", but it was clear that the interviewers didn't have a good vision of what they were testing for and where the interview should head.
