      Entrevista

Initial phone call came was to schedule an on-site interview. Everything seemed pleasant, and the interview was scheduled accordingly. There was no Human Resources, all was done by management. Attempted to do research at their website, to discover a website alert as the website was virus ridden. A virus actually attempted to download onto my PC good thing my anti-virus scanner caught it and cleaned it. I notified management their website had been malware attacked and they proceeded to notify their IT department. A few days later the website issue was resolved after my initial interview. The initial interview was pleasant, I met the company project manager, and the program manager for the client. I was invited back for a second interview. I showed up and the security guard mentioned the manager was already having her last interview - which confused me. I waited around for the manager as my second interview was with the director. I noticed the manager walk down their last interview and she walked back to her office. I went inside to speak with the security guard to discover she had already gone back up. I called her and she informed me the Director was in another meeting, and time had run over for the first interview. She never came to speak with me in person, but it was obvious I drove there, got ready, showed up, waited, paid for parking all for nothing. I could have been notified earlier, or at least been informed face to face. I was interested in this organization, but after discussion with friends, and thinking about it briefly, they have really shown me how they treat people, and how they are organized as a company. It was a very big let down and I have never experienced such treatment in all my years as a professional. Armed with three degrees, two certifications, and years of progressive experience, one would have expected a bit more professionalism. Instead, my last bit of feedback was from the security guard, and I quote "you should get a few bonus points for that." In regards, to the effort I took to show up on time for my interview, to be turned away because of a scheduling conflict at the lobby door, on the phone. They could have walked down to tell me. I would be intrigued to see whether they setup a second interview, or if their Director would even call me directly to apologize.
