phone interview - started off with standard questions. The call itself was very difficult as the interviewer had a terrible connection from what I would assume was a bad headset or connferencing software. I was loosing every third word that they said. That was compounded by their accent and pace. Two out of the three issues wouldn't have been an issue but all three led me to asking them to repeat themselves an uncomfortable number of times. It was clear that she was having issues understanding me as well.
The questions progressed into more job specific and it became clear from the follow-ups that the intended strategy was 100% paid promotion as they glossed over experiences I had driving down customer acquisition costs through organic or "non-traditional" methods and pressed on granular paid tactics.
