Applied online and got a call within a day to schedule an HR phone screen where we talked for a half hour about the role and what they were looking for.
After the phone screen I was scheduled to meet in-person at the Burbank office with the hiring manager for a one hour interview. This was largely conversational and focused on my interest level and what I could bring to the role.
I was then asked in a followup e-mail to build a cost model from an existing playset and submit to the team, which I completed before the next interview.
The next interview was on site with a remote team at HQ. Members in the same role as well as potential direct report. This was more technical about the process and methodology I used to complete costs, what I did if there was an unknown variable. At the end of this session I met again with the hiring manager and we agreed to move forward which would mean a final set of interviews at HQ in Pawtucket.
My flight was scheduled, but unfortunately this corresponded with a rough quarterly earnings report which froze new hiring.
I was called back several months later, but the position and salary was rescoped at a level which I was not willing to move.
Overall good experience, great team and well organized, but just bad timing.
