      Entrevista para WAH Sales/Service Representative

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en HSN (Nashville, TN) en mar 2011

      Entrevista

After applying online, I was contacted for as phone interview. During the phone interview, I was required to access the recruiter's desktop remotely and a mock call was staged. Most of the questions were standard interview questions: best, worst, pros and cons, etc of past jobs, what was enjoyed most, disliked, handling conflict and teamwork issues. There were no curve balls. The recruiter went out of her way to make the interview as friendly and conversational in tone as possible. Before the mock call was staged, she went over every point and explained clearly what the "call" was going to be like. At the end of the phone interview, I was offered a position, pending background and drug tests. I was asked if I had planned time off in the first 90 days, and I was given that time off. Otherwise, the first 90 days are attendance required, zero tolerance for absences. I was given several options for preferred shift and days off. Following the call, I received emails detailing all I would need to start work. Within days I received my firm offer (after background and drug test) via email. If you interview, you will need a phone with headset, as you will be keyboarding while talking to the recruiter. This is a sales driven position. You need to keep that in mind if applying. There are very high standards and they seem a little rigid. I am trying to work through my probationary phase, then I am asking to interview for customer service. The training process was thorough in technical matters, not so much in sales techniques. The support of the training team and tenured reps, as well as the supervisors is just amazing. I was expecting to feel fairly isolated while working at home, but my team keeps a chat window up for help, rants and raves, and camaraderie. It helps.

      Pregunta 1

There really were no difficult questions asked. If you read anything about interviews, you will have no surprises. The mock phone call that is staged was slightly uncomfortable, as you are navigating a strange system and trying to be upbeat and positive while making a sale.

      Entrevista

The interviewer asks you to do a mock sales order and supervises the process. She watches as you navigate the system and asks you questions the typical HSN shopper would ask.

      Entrevista

I applied online and took a lengthy assessment. Two weeks later I received an email asking me to schedule a phone interview and to select my interview time. The recruiter called at my exact time scheduled. It was really easy and she was really nice. Went over the benefits and requirements of the job and then asked me two simple questions after the second question she offered me the job.
