Contact via recruiter who set up interview some weeks later. Arrived at Canary Wharf for an 8am interview and the hiring manager turned up to get me at 8.40... without even acknowledging the time. Contact made again via recruiter 4 months later!

Was given more of an overview of the role and the company than standard interview questions.
Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en HSBC (Hong Kong) en jun 2016
Entrevista
I applied through internal referral in June 2016. After about 3 weeks, got a call from HR to arrange a face-to-face interview with one of the Senior Managers (not hiring manager) in the team. There was only 1 round of interview. The interview mainly focused on my previous experience and some scenario questions which were pretty much the role I applied would be facing. The interview lasted for about 1.5 hours.
I got the notification from the HR 2 weeks after the interview to ask me to complete the job application online and took an online test on how your decision aligns with HSBC values. The day after I completed the test, the HR called me and told me that I passed the test and proceeded to salary negotiation. Background checks kicked off at the same time
Once salary was confirmed, the HR would give a verbal offer. After accepting the offer, the HR would issue the employment contract.
Just one thing, the communication with the HR might take a rather long time since the HR has to handle huge amount of recruitment cases at the same time. The whole salary discussion and offer delivery process lasted more than a month.

Mainly scenario questions and experiences stated on CV
1. Self-introduction
2. Walk me (the interviewer) through the entire project flow, from planning to sampling to reviewing and reporting. You can define the scope on your own and walk though the whole process.
3. Why would you choose such method to conduct your review?
4. Which is the most important area in HSBC you think that requires prioritized attention when it comes to financial crime compliance?
The interviewer did have many follow up questions on your responses, so make sure you articulate your answers well so that the interview cannot pick any contradictions in your answers.
