Me postulé en persona. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en HSBC (Quezon City, National Capital Region) en feb 2015
Entrevista
Very slow and tedious. The waiting time for the results of the short initial exam was 4-5 hours. The recruiting staff did not even bother to update the applicant as to what's keeping them so long. Some of them were just lounging around chatting. The waiting area was small and dark (unlike years before), and all the applicants were crowded around and looked like they were about to suffocate.
During the long (forever) wait, if you get famished (out of boredom), you would need to shell out at least 300-500 pesos on one of the nearby fine dining restos in the area since their huge cafeteria is restricted from applicants. Otherwise, you would have to brave the great outdoors, which is about 3-5 miles away from the nearest fast food (and market so hold on to that bag real tight).
And so after waiting for what seemed like an eternity, I finally got interviewed just to be told, by a stuttering recruiter (who seemed dressed for a Playboy business-edition centerfold), in English, that I didn't make it.

Why did I apply for the job and why this particular company. Why am I applying for an entry-level job for recent grads (more of bluntly stated rather than asked) with my "experience" (but nevertheless invoking age, and seemingly oblivious to my job history which clearly stated on my resume was geared only towards entry-level work).
Submit online application and passed online simulation, similar to what role would entail. Had a telephone interview, then in person interview at the building. Interview was okay but started late and felt rushed. Completed online based interview. Lengthy process for minimum salary, and long hours. Took 14 days to hear back. Not worth the hassle

I was invited to do an online assessment that was about answering a fake call from a customer and helping them through a banking problem they were having, then a screening call, finally an in-person interview
