Applied via an employee referral. Process was complied of a phone screening call with the HR l manager, then a virtual interview, with the final interview being in person. The process was simple and they got back to me in timely fashion

I applied through an employee referral in Nov 2022 and HR contacted me 3 business days later to schedule a phone screen. The HR person I dealt with was very unprofessional and was unsuccessful in setting up a day and time for the phone screen. It took an additional 3 days to receive a response, of which they didn't even apologize for. At the scheduled time of the phone screen, the HR person never ended up calling and it was after I sent a follow-up, they called 30 mins later saying "I forgot" and wished to set up another time. Finally, they called the second time and I passed that round. Moving forward, it was another HR person that dealt with my application. They scheduled me in for a virtual interview, I passed that and moved on to the second round with included 4 new interviewers and 1 repeat from the first round. I thought I did well but ended up getting rejected, saying 1. I was unsuccessful 2. the team decided to move in a different direction, which got me questioning what was the exact reason? A month or two later, I saw on LI that they reposted the posting and I reached out to the hiring manager to ask if it was the same role because I'm still very interested but of course, didn't receive a response since and it's been over a week. Overall, I had a very very unprofessional experience.
