Applied on through the university and had a 30-minute interview scheduled on-campus the next week with two former MITs. Extended an invitation for an on-site interview at one of their offices two weeks later. Two other interviewees were to be interviewed for the same position. Three company representatives interviewed each candidate one-on-one. Left feeling positive about the interview but still unsure of results. No update on hiring process was given over the next month despite following up by email. Needed to be personally reached out to by phone to get an update on the hiring process. Checked up one last time and was immediately informed they had moved in another direction.

Applied through my university career services. Called me in for an interview. It was very simple, neat and a common interview. The negative thing is that they never respond regarding your selection even after multiple emails.
