It was a bit unorganized, but overall quite good people. The questions were basic, for example, software use, favorite past project, portfolio questions, etc. It was generally informal and very laid back.

The interview process at HKS was organized and friendly. The team emphasized collaboration, design thinking, and cultural fit. Recruiters communicated clearly, and everyone I met seemed genuinely passionate about architecture and the firm’s mission. The focus was less on technical software tests and more on understanding my design approach and how I handle feedback.
