This review is for H&M Singapore as a sales advisor. Group interview; very different from how H&M employs in other countries. You are made to go through several role play activities where they test your customer service skills and ability to perform in a VERY fast paced environment. The job offer will be given on the same day. Take note that this is not a conventional interview where you talk your way through the questions, you are really judged based on your performance during the activities. Real-world retail experience is a great benefit as you will know instinctively how to react to your advantage. In my group, there was one person who had never worked retail and he was promptly struck off the list. So, in my opinion, they are not really looking for newbies. If you are new to this line of work, it might be better applying elsewhere.
