I was interviewed thru an employee referral. Got thru multiple levels of interviews. During last interview I was asked why I was retiring from the military. I explained that I was selected for early retirement after 26 years served. The interviewer asked me multiple times to explain this further. I feel strongly I wasn't hired because of their lack of understanding of the cutbacks in the military today. It's a shame I feel I was probably significantly overqualified but was ultimately not hired because of being cut from the service. My opinion of HEB has changed due to all of this
