Entrevista
Was introduced to hiring manager through mutual contact. He gave me overview of role and I told him about my experience. He probed and asked questions about the experience. Next step would be to chat with recruiter
Process consisted of: Screening interview (HR), Hiring Manager interview (Take-home Case), 5 interviews (mix of cases and cross-functional interviews). Process was very long, as typical PM loops are, but communication with recruiter was timely overall.

Entrevista
I recently went through a lengthy interview process for a Product Manager position at Gusto. It involved a screening, a panel interview with 4 team members, and a final interview. The screening was easy because of my experience, but the panel interview took around 4 hours and required about 8-9 days of preparation. The interviewers seemed positive about my fit for the role, but before the final stage, I was informed that they had offered the position to an internal candidate. Despite this, I talked with the hiring manager about potential opportunities within the company. However, after the call, I didn't receive any feedback, and my attempts to contact them were ignored. Subsequently, I faced rejections when applying for other similar roles.
It's frustrating to spend so much time preparing to hear about an internal candidate at the last minute and then be ghosted. Be prepared for similar experiences.
