I originally met with them in a career fair. That night I got word I was offered an interview. They just wanted to get to know me during the interview. I told them about myself, going through my resume verbally and adding details. Very personal interview experience. After that I was notified two weeks later about the offer. Best advice is to research their company. It really made me stand out that I was already passionate about them. Granted, I didn’t even know this company existed the day before the career fair, never underestimate the power of spending a hour researching. I had a list of questioned I wanted to ask as a result of my research during they career fair and kept taking notes during the entirety so when it was appropriate to speak, I knew what I wanted to say.
