Completely unprofessional! After numerous interviews on the phone I was asked onsite for a 7 hour interview including a presentation. The feedback on the day was relatively positive and despite my belief that 6 people interviewing for 1 hour each with no breaks is a little extreme I left with a reasonable impression. However, that was the last I heard from them despite emails to the recruiter and execs asking for feedback/news. Why any company would think this is acceptable behavior is completely beyond me. IMHO it’s shows a complete lack of respect for the candidate and highlights a real weakness within certain areas of the company. Even a short “thanks but no thanks” email that takes 5 seconds to write would be better than being completely ignored. Thankfully there are more respectful companies and more professional recruiters out there.
