      Entrevista

      I applied for a Customer Success Manager posting online after seeing an ad on facebook. After I had answered a few questions on the website I was scheduled a short call with the recruiter. I was then invited to do an onsite interview with the head of the department together with the recruiter and then separately (surprisingly for me) with the COO of the company. The first interview focused on my previous experience and reviewing my ability to come up with solutions to the problems I would face as a CSM. The goal of the interview with the COO was essentially to gauge my personality - the questions were more general and personal. I was then invited to do a 'demo day', where I did a few exercises that reflected the real tasks I would go on to perform on a daily basis, sitting with my future team to mimic a day of actual work. The whole process took about 2 weeks, but I've felt it was designed to ensure that there is a real understanding of what the job entails on part of the applicant and that there is a culture fit between myself and the company. Because of this I haven't felt like my time was wasted as the process moved swiftly from each step to the next one, and while it was indeed elaborate I definitely see the value of an early verification and complete transparency it exhibited.

      Entrevista

      The interview consists of four stages, with the first one being sending your CV online and filling out a task based questionnaire. If they like your answers, you will be contacted by an HR member for a quick call during which you will get to know more about the position and the company. The last two stages are three interviews onsite (Team leader, HR and one of the C levels) plus a "demo day" where you have some scheduled tasks to work out with the team. The whole interview process was easy and fun - possibly one of the nicest interview experiences I had. I was contacted very quickly after filling out the web questionnaire and all everybody I met was very honest with me: all the onsite interviews gave me a good overall view of how is it to work at the company.
