I ended up frustrated by the contact because he frequently did not acknowledge receipt of my emails, and he did not respond to an important question I asked. I never had a chance to meet with the hiring manager, despite having three interviews. It is extremely odd to me that the hiring manager wasn’t involved at an earlier stage, and there was no explanation. The interviewers I did have talked a big game about the culture of the company and how they prioritize wellness and mental health, but that did not reflect the reality of the interview process. Tip to the company: don’t bother stating you would love to give feedback to a candidate, if your policy doesn’t allow you to actually share the feedback with them.
