Good interview experience, I could have asked a lot of questions. They vere very good in following up with me as well. The challenge was not difficult but it was really time consuming.

I applied for the role and maybe two days later, a recruiter called to screen my interest and discuss my background. After determining I was a potential fit, she set up an interview with the hiring manager.
I had a phone call with the hiring manager for about 30 mins three days later. The hiring manager asked a few questions and was quite satisfied after the call. She indicated I would hear back the following week.
I was moved on to next round which was a phone interview with a peer. The peer asked in-depth technical questions about HR laws, procedure, and previous experience. I was given multiple opportunities throughout the process to ask questions and learn more about Groupon as well as the role.
The recruiter called back a week later and informed me that they decided to go with an internal candidate. Although I was a bit disappointed, I can't complain. The process was simple, straightforward, and fair. The recruiter kept me informed of next steps and called me instead of sending an email... It made all the difference.

I NEVER HEARD EITHER WAY (AFTER 3 INTERVIEWS) WHETHER I GOT THE JOB OR NOT!!
I applied for a slightly different role which after a phone interview it came to light was more junior than expecting, so we agreed it wasn't right to progress. then a few weeks later the in house recruiter contacted me to say there was a Business Partner role and would I be interested. I confirmed I was so went in for a face to face with the Recruiter and the Head of HR.
The Head of HR was clearly running from one meeting to the next and seemed quite distracted, but it seemed to go well as I was advised soon after that I was invited back for a final interview with the current incumbent and the Senior HR Business Partner.
when I arrived, the current incumbent wasn't able to meet with me, which I was fine with, so had a quick meeting with the Senior HR BP instead. This was much more structured and seemed to go well and I was told I'd hear by the end of the week. I didn't, I chased the recruiter for feedback and she confirmed it would be the start of the following week, which I was fine with - I work in HR, I know how these things can go with trying to get everyone in the room together to discuss all the candidates.
However, I still - 3 months later! - haven't heard anything either way. I'm guessing I wasn't successful, but as someone who does work in HR, I think this is absolutely awful. Its so important, even if someone isn't successful, to let them know as well as providing them with feedback which can help in their continuing job search.
Such a shame, especially as I had followed up and highlighted how much I would appreciate the feedback.
