Me postulé a través de una facultad o universidad. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Group One Trading (Chicago, IL) en feb 2011
Entrevista
i talked to a recruiter and they asked me mostly standard questions about why trading, what i had done on my resume, etc. i was surprised i didn't get another round, as i've gotten multiple rounds at more reputable firms. i actually emailed the recruiter asking what i might've done better and she said she thought i did well and nothing stood out in particular, it was just very competitive this year. at least they were professional and responded etc.

I became familiar with Group One through a company visit where they gave a lecture on the greeks of derivatives trading. The employees were very enthusiastic about their jobs and seemed to truly enjoy what they were doing, which drove me to apply for their internship via my school's website.
First phone interview consisted of several mental math questions of varying difficulty.
The second phone interview was over what was on your resume, why you wanted to become a trader, and why you wanted to work for Group One in particular.
Both interviewers were friendly and laid back.
