I apply online, get a rejection. Since it was from a recruiter and not a no-reply, I ask why considering my experience directly aligns with what they are looking for. They basically say that they are looking for someone with longer tenures at companies, but I could try again and explain that I was LAID OFF TWICE in the last two years in a cover. So I write a cover letter doing this, and am rejected again. Spare me the elitist, out-of-touch take on tenure. Haven't you noticed that the job market is crazy unstable the last 3 years and people are getting laid off left and right? Don't waste your time on these people, and this BS company.
