Spoke with a recruiting representative today from Greylock, and I was so disappointed! First she was seven minutes late to our phone call and didn't apologize. Then she asked me questions and didn't listen to my answers and asked me the same question that I just answered adding extra buzzwords. She reached out to me on linkedin, however didn't share anything really about herself for any opportunity. She seemed to worry that I had already talked to someone in her organization already. It felt like she want to get off the phone to go to lunch. Every question she asked had a negative tone to it and despite my efforts to redirect conversations she kept trying to ask prying questions that I told her I was unable to answer for legal reasons. Then she mocked me and her next question and asked if I could answer something that was about a different job. I'm just gonna take it that she had a bad day but she didn't really ask me anything about my experience my hopes my goals my dream job etc. Total call was about 8 min. :(
