I applied directly in 2014. There was a simple phone screen within a week, and an in-person interview at Greenphire (King of Prussia, PA) almost a month later. I was interviewed by a panel of 3 people, 2 of them were engineers. The interview was mostly technical, with some of the cliche personality questions thrown in. I was immediately turned off by the dismissive attitude of the engineers, almost like they thought the interview was a waste of their time. The questions were fairly basic, focused on some technicalities of the Python language. There was a whiteboarding component, consisting of a Fibonacci sequence generator. I was told I would get a follow-up call either way, but never heard from them again.
