The role was advertised on my university placement website. To apply I believe I used their own website and filled in the small application form while also attaching my CV. I then got an email back within the week stating that I had been selected for an interview - which I then replied to almost immediately only to get a poorly spelt automated response. I was interviewed by a director and who I can only assume to be his right hand man. I thought the interview went fairly well - in that there were no awkward silences and I answered the questions quite easily as my awesome normal self. It was more like an informal chat than an interview. I also was advised to go into consulting because apparently most girls don't like site work. I know a couple of other people from my course who applied - One individual had their interview cancelled 15 minutes prior to it after he had taken a mighty long trek to get there. Then when he went back he had a painful gruelling interview where he got asked lots of technical questions. I got told they were reviewing all the candidates again on the Friday so that they could send details up to the head office and that they would be getting back to people within a week to let them know if they got the placement or not. Which they obviously did not do. I got a response two days ago from them (almost a month after my interview) stating I was unsuccessful . In that time I had had two interviews with other companies and got offers from both of them so I was not exactly waiting for a response from them. I sincerely hope the poor organisation isn't a reflection of the role.

Two person panel. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout. Felt very welcome. Questions weren't too challenging. All round pleasant experience. Answered my questions clearly and satisfactorily. They were very transparent with what I would realistically be doing once I got the position.
