I was contacted via LinkedIn by a HR person from Goldman Sachs. Had a conversation about my current work and the technologies I work with. I was told I would be sent a Hackerrank coding round as a first round. There were two coding questions of easy to moderate difficulty. I was able to complete both of them. I received no response from the HR after completion of the first round for about a month, after which I contacted her. She seemed to have no clue about it and told me she would look into it and would call back. There was no call from her. I contacted her again after a few days and received the same response. The next time I contacted her, she admitted that I had successfully completed the coding round and said another person from HR was responsible for scheduling the next round of interview and that her job was essentially done. She said she would contact that person and get the interview scheduled. Never happened and was not able to contact her since. Was left wondering why I was even reached out to in the first place and did not pursue it further.
