The first-round interview was conducted professionally, with relevant questions on past experience and career goals. The conversation went well and there was clarity on next steps. However, the process afterward was very unprofessional. A follow-up round was scheduled, but no one from the company joined the call and there was no prior notice or communication afterward. Additionally, attempts to reach out went unanswered. Such lack of coordination and transparency creates a very poor candidate experience and reflects negatively on the company’s hiring process.

Most of their product team is hired from Amazon and they will inform that they are using Amazon hiring process. Round1 Questions were around previous experience. They will ask about different situations you have faced during your career and how you handled them. Round2 Again focus on different situations you have faced during your career. One product design question, focus will be on your approach. Round3 This round will be with product head. Focus again will be on previous experience. Red flag Even before the start of third round HR asked for all salary documents. During third round head directly informs you that you are through and HR will reach for documents and offer. Post that HR goes in a silent mode for2-3 weeks with no further updates. Then suddenly informs that someone else is selected for the role. They could have first evaluated all the candidates before communicating anything to the candidate. Interview process is average, no product sense was analysed. Overall it seems decision making process is not well thought out in the organisation.
