Prior to interviewing I've read that they tend to throw you down the bus at the last minute before a later stage interview with an automated email about the position being on hold and whatnot. Seems it's really a thing. It happened to me. You'd assume they would make an actual person do that since they interviewed you. Very unprofessional and rude. This is not a company you should take seriously.
