The first round was more about discussing the candidate's work profile and the daily tasks handled during the tenure served with the current employer. The second round was a bit odd as it was taken by a lead business analyst. The candidate had mentioned during the introduction, that the role of a BA was provided out of necessity within the project and the tricks and trades of a BA were being implemented through working within that project environment. However, the interviewer wanted the candidate to answer theoretically proper and concise definitions and terms to the questions given. The candidate can only answer those questions with respect to the knowledge that has been garnered from working in a specific project. So the interviewer was probably there with a preemptive set of questions & answers and he wanted the candidate to reply to the exact same answers he must have documented. Therefore I believe the interview was bit amateurish and not relevant at all when it comes to dealing with what was mentioned in the Job Description.

I had 2 interview rounds, first with HR and the second one was technical. The HR person and the technical interviewers were very professional and polites. The process was very well organized and I received a good feedback from the company
