      Entrevista

      Bascially, I had applied for this role online. A recruiter had contacted me to schedule a phone call. Our phone call lasted less than 5 minutes; bascially she wanted me to know that she was going to submit my profile to the hiring manager in the United Kingdom. She had assured me that she would be getting back to me by the end of the week --- and I still did not hear back from her to anyone at Globality. I am not sure what was even point of setting up our call given that this could've been easily done via e-mail. Candidates have to allocate time (during business hours) to speak with recruiters. It's unfortunate that recruiters (and companies) interviewing canddiates are not respectful of a person's time, given that s/he is taking time off work to speak with them. More importantly, if this is how Globality treats its external candidates one can only imagine how toxic it would be to work with them. Thankfully, I am closing in on another offer at a large-cap tech company and one of my main tasks will be to source other techs for strategic pursuits. I will be sure to keep Globality out of my radar. I would advise all candidates to apply caution when dealing with a company that is "ghosting" candidates which is downright dispresectful and unprofessional.

      Did about 10 interviews in total, it was the never ending process despite me asking how many rounds there were. Seemed like nobody was willing or knew how to make a decision either way. Each 'interview' was more or less the same asking questions about why I wanted to join, my experience etc. But I had to repeat this over and over but just to a different person. Only once was I ever really tested with a case study or similar. At the end of hours and hours of my life wasted they said 'we want someone with more experience' - they were aware from the start my level of experience so I am not sure why it took so long to reach this conclusion. Learn how to treat candidates better, we do not have hours and hours to sacrifice to vague never ending recruitment processes just because you are disorganised / averse to making a decision.
