Entrevista
I was brought in for a first interview. It didn't start well when I was made to wait for quite a while after my appointment time. When I was finally called in, the interview was extremely vague about the job and made grand assertions about the future of the company, however was extremely cagey and evasive when I asked questions. This was seen most when I asked the seemingly very simple question of what the day to day life in the job would be and she refused to say. She told me that that wasn't discussed, along with salary until a "second, all day interview which entails a day on the job." I asked point blank if the company was a direct marketing company and she hemmed and hawed about it. I got called back for a second interview but did not go. Don't even bother with this nonsense. It's extremely sketchy at best and a downright pyramid scheme at worst. Stay far away.

Got a phone call inviting to an in-person interview half hour after applying. TOTAL SCAM. Has nothing to do with marketing, they just want you to hand flyers. Several "companies" share one tiny office, they interview 6-7 people in different rooms, if you could call it an interview.

No questions. They pretend like what you will do is important and in a year you can be a manager, but you are going to HAND OUT FLYERS

I applied (ON LINKEDIN) during Thanksgiving break, so I didn't expect to hear back anytime soon. However, I received an email the next day saying they wanted to interview me. I thought that was a bit odd, but since it was my first time applying to jobs in NYC, I thought it would be different. I was in California, and they would not entertain the idea of doing a Skype interview and expected me to fly to NY. I told them I would be in the city in December and they scheduled an appointment. My appointment time was for 1:00 pm, but I'm pretty sure they made me sit and wait for an hour or more. *Red flag for me right there*
After my interview, the CEO called me, which was odd again and told me to come in on Monday and to dress professionally. Therefore, I wore heels and a suit and went back there to learn that I was required to go to the Bronx and sell some phones. (I WAS REQUIRED TO WORK AS AN OUTDOOR SALES REP) Thankfully, I didn't have the right shoes on so they made me fill the 'after-Bronx trip' survey right there. The lady who worked there literally gave me the answers. It was all so shady. In order words, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. ITS A SCAM!!
