Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Global Relay (Vancouver, BC) en ago 2020
Entrevista
I applied through a recruiter in August 2020. Here are the details about rounds and questions.
1. Hiring Manager round (45 mins)
2. Codility Test(2 hours 30 mins
3. Onsite Round(Virtual- 90 minutes)
I had read a lot of salary-related issues about this company on GlassDoor ahead of applying and appearing for the interview. I faced the same problem, the company offers really less as compared to the market standards and points out the interview performance for offering low base salary hence I declined for moving further into Cultural interview round.

Do not waste your time. This company is insanely toxic.
The interview process was smooth in the first interview, then the HR called me and lowered the salary from 90 to 75. (Worse to worst). Because they said the interview went well but I am not intermediate (I accepted an offer at amazon after)
The second interview was a disaster. A DFS question and a mock unit testing question to solve using dependency injection. But the thing is, during the interview, interviews seemed like they hated themselves. i could smell the corporate toxic culture from miles away. i could see the desperation in their eyes. I could see how tight the desks are. I could see how they were looking at me like someone needs saving.
They’re asking for problem solving skills and leetcoders while they pay 75k in Vancouver.
I happily declined the offer but don’t waste your time. Worst hiring process ever and it seems like they’re so cheap

I had been given an offer from another company and this had been booked weeks in advance, so I decided to go through with it anyway. In preparation, I had a peek at what people had said on here and despite the countless mentions of rudeness and disengagement, I assumed it was an exaggeration. It was not. The associate director who intervied could not be less bothered with the interview. The huffing and puffing, the dismissive tone of voice, he made me feel like I should apologize for the fact he hates his job throughout the interview. Incredibly hostile interaction, it gives anyone who isn't desperate absolutely no desire to experience working for the company. After a rapid fire set of questions, he asked if I had any questions for him. The one that came to mind was 'are you okay?', but I asked about the rest of the process, which he replied with 'I was gonna cover that anyway' again summoning as much ability as he could to make me feel like a nuisance. We can't name people negatively on here, otherwise I would, because if you receive an invite with this guy's name, it'd be worth rescheduling. A big NO.

Strategy, Singleton and Builder design patterns. Difference between Singleton as a design pattern and as a Spring Boot context. Singleton vs Prototype. Is Java a pass by value or a pass by reference language? What are immutable objects and how do you make them so? What is a deadlock and how to avoid it? Explain race conditions and how to manage them. If two objects in java are equal, must they produce the same has, and if they produce the same hash, must they be equal?
