Quite poor experience as recruiter reached out via email and directly set up interview with hiring manager. There was no recruiter screening done and the hiring manager do not show up for the first interview and they had to reschedule. From there had multiples interviews with hiring manager and various business heads. All were nice and productive conversations. At the last interview, they asked about my compensation and I told them what i was making and everything went silent from there. I sent a follow up mail after a week to recruiter to check my candidate status and no response. Now it's been 2 months and not even an auto email on updating the candidate on position status. Overall poor experience, no transparency in the process. I am surprised a Microsoft company has such broken HR processes.
