The first HR round was easy-going and friendly. I appreciated the positive attitude. The second round was a 3-hour Technical Assignment, which I found frustrating because there were no precise requirements for the task. Without clearly defined criteria up front, the evaluation felt somewhat subjective. In my case, after being told the TA was good overall, I was rejected over two issues. One of which I’d argue was a matter of preference rather than a mistake (there are multiple valid approaches to that part). I was told I hadn’t included enough test cases, though I had implemented some. I’d recommend asking for detailed evaluation criteria before investing time in the assignment. The lack of transparency in the process left me feeling like my 3 hours weren’t respected. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend them.

Refactor and improve the Technical Assignment in 3 hours, following best practices, with no specific requirements.

Save your time and dont even apply - this was the worst experience yet. After a friendly talk with HR, I got the assignment, send it back and then waited almost 2 months for a reply... Which is weird cause I see other interview reviews on glassdoor from Dec 2025 and their interview took 2 weeks.. So it has nothing to do with December, they just decide to ignore you for no reason
And the test assignment.. I thought leetcode or IQ tests were useless, this is even worse. You have 3 hours to familiarize with the project and refactor it .. however you feel like. Any SE knows that vague "refactor" could mean literally anything, and many reviewers pointed that out too. Even writing a detailed document pointing out every inefficiency didnt satisfy their need; you are literally supposed to redesign the models, add all domain layers, rewrite wrong queries, add tests and so many more in just 3 hours. Thats a bulletproof rejection scheme: you spend 3 hours fixing problems A and B, so they can reject you by saying "ohh, you should have fixed C and D actually". Good luck finding anyone.
If the CEO is reading this review, please do something about it, cause HRs and your engineers are ultimately spending your company's money on pointless interview processes, when with a proper test you could have closed this position within 2 weeks.

They ask you to think about security, performance, maintainability, design patterns and many more.. in 3 hours. And they will reject you if you dont provide any tests, which is not mentioned anywhere.
After a brief call with HR I was sent a technical assignment to be completed in 3 hours. The zip file contained the worst Spring Boot project ever conceived by humanity and specifications were very vague, the request was to make that utterly disgusting thing (I refuse to call it project) "Production Ready". I tried my best to deliver the best solution in the given time, but I didn't make It to write tests before the deadline (they were marked as optional), so they rejected me.
