I had a very good interview experience at Genetec (did an intro call with a recruiter and another call with the hiring manager and team) until I was ghosted only to be told 3 months after my last interview that the position had been filled. I followed up with the recruiter several times after not hearing back and was told the company was having a hectic time due to end of year projects. Very disappointed as I was left hanging for months and didn’t receive any feedback as to why I did not move to the next step, but was just told the positron was filled. Follow up with your candidates and don’t keep them hanging for months, it’s not a good look.
