Heard about job opening and contacted management via email. Sent resume and experience details. After a brief back and forth, interview was scheduled. During interview management painted company/role in a very positive light and had all the right answers. Other staff members were brought in to discuss strategy/business needs then after a brief negotiation over salary, offer was made and accepted. There was a brief honeymoon period, then the culture of the company was truly apparent. There were a lot of good ideas and promises about "Big" things that were going to happen, but its seldom that any of that comes to fruition. Management seemed very reactionary at times. Actual employment was pretty good and I was always treated fairly, but there was a lot of turnover and unrest about the security of the company and everyone's continued employment.
