After being selected for the mechanic role, I was soon internally promoted to lead mechanic, a position which I fulfilled for 14 years. I have received regular pay increases and bonuses along with reviews stating that I was performing above and beyond with regular consistency in nearly every area graded. A new boss took over and insisted that I "re-interview" for the job I was currently in. I was demoted as a result of this (hostle) interview.
