Hiring and interview process was intense and long. I was invited into Genentech for two rounds of interviews, several weeks apart. Each round was an all day affair with 5-6 interviews including at least two interviewers. One interviewer would ask questions while the other took notes. Then the roles were reversed. Interviewers were respectful and fair but there are clearly high expectations to be met. There was also a case study to execute and then a subsequent discussion of the case study.
