      Entrevista

      I have had a couple of interviews with different Best Buy Stores for this position. I applied online like everyone else. I got called like 2 to 3 days later to setup an interview. There was one store that gave me a phone interview together with the hiring manager and the Geek Squad supervisor. During the in-person interview, they normally ask basic questions like describe a situation that you went above and beyond, why do you like working for Best Buy, describe your previous jobs and what you liked and disliked about them, What would you do if you caught an employee stealing a piece of candy, describe your ideal leader/manager, and a whole lot of questions which are described in this website. I was really able to ace the interviews with the help of this site. A lot of the other questions, you can find on this site. Anyways, I got called for interviews for two different stores with the GM. They offered me only a part time job when I applied for a full time position. I declined the offer but I will apply again in a couple of months.

      Entrevista

      It was good, pretty casual. They told me a bit about them, and then asked me to tell them about me. Asked me a lot of customer focused questions. Not really any technical questions for my interview, but if you're able to bring up how your experience fits the role they love that.

      Entrevista

      The interview is a standard set of questions related to customer service and repair procedures that every other candidate is supposed to be asked. Be prepared to go against internal hires as they are highly favored. Even being an internal hire myself I was not "qualified" for the position with 3+ years of job experience in the role I was applying to. Instead, the store I was applying to chose to go with someone who has never worked in the role and decided to give the job to someone who already worked in that location. Unfortunate to say the least.
