      Entrevista

      I was recruited for the position based on my resume that I had posted on indeed.com. I'm not sure the best way to get your foot in the door if applying online. I know they hire a lot from referrals, so see if anyone in your network works for Gartner. The hiring process is very in depth and consists of multiple steps. I will go through each one so that you can know what to expect. 1. Contacted by recruiter via email. Asked if I would be interested in talking with them more about the position. 2. Brief 30 minute conversation about Gartner and job details. Set up next call with Senior Recruiter. 3. More in depth interview asks more questions about background and how your skills and abilities mesh with Gartner's culture and the position. Short mock call 5-10 minutes. 4. In person interview in Florida. Four parts to this interview include: Tour of building, meeting with current SMB Account Manager, Whiteboard Presentation, and 15-20 minute mock sales call. 5. One week after the final interview an offer was made contingent on background check. It took another week or so to finalize the background check. My overall experience was amazing. Every person I spoke with was very professional and very passionate about Gartner and what the company stands for. My advice is, if you really want this position is to read every interview review on this site. Also I read the book SPIN Selling in preparation for the mock sales calls. It explains the exact model they use for their sales process. It teaches you the right questions to ask. This position is all about the questions that you ask. Ask good questions throughout and you will get this job! For the whiteboard presentation I asked the AM I spoke with to help me polish what I had already prepared. He helped me nail the presentation! This is the most difficult interview I have ever done. It is thorough and in depth. If you do your work and research before hand it makes it a lot easier! Good Luck!!

      Entrevista

      The interview process was composed of five steps. 4 steps were interviews on the phone with recruiters, steps number 3 and 4 including a little sales role-play. The final step was in person in the Barcelona office with the recruiter that was there since the beginning of the process, a manager and the VP of sales. Overall, the process was very smooth and I was very well accompanied receiving constructive feedback (very helpful!) from the recruiter between each step. They really want you to do well and give you all the info you need to succeed. Special thanks to Roberta !

      Entrevista

      4 rounds of interviews: 1. Initial phone call & Gartner Introduction 2. Phone call consisting of "Tell me a time when" questions 3. Continuation of stage 2 with more detail and a phone call role play 4. Assessment day with another role play From my experience the recruitment process overall was excellent. It was was well organised and they gave candidates tangible feedback on how to improve. The company is big on coaching and likes people who can take advise and continually develop. If you have done sales before it should be challenging but not too difficult. Also make sure you apply for other jobs simultaneously as I feel the company took me more seriously when they knew I was applying for multiple roles.

      A 4-stage interview process, with the initial 2 on the phone, the 3rd being video and the 4th and final stage being a panel interview after spending some time in the offices with the opportunity to talk to members of the Recruitment team, and a recently hired salesperson.
