Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 5 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Gartner (Egham, England) en nov 2014
Entrevista
Was first contacted by the talent sourcing manager 6 months ago when I wasn't ready for new opportunities. Been following Gartner since then as I am using a lot of reports from Gartner as part of my current job responsibilities. Always had a good impression of Gartner as good company and contacted the same sourcing manager to discuss existing opportunities. He was very nice and seemed switched on. He was helpful too and prepared me well for the next step which was a phone interview with a recruitment manager. Boy, she bored me to death with her dull questions, and here awful voice drove me mad. The most tedious and meaningless interview experience I've ever had. It just felt horrid to be judged by someone who very likely was way less intelligent than me. If you get these bad feelings at an early stage, run away. That's my advice. Only fools can be part of this organisation. With their awful selection process I wouldn't be surprised if the turnover was high at this organisation, and I am glad they didn't get back to me. It saved me lots of energy and time. The next steps would have been another phone interview with a hiring manager, face-to-face with the hiring manager (again) and some area manager, last but not least a panel interview with a bunch of half wits probably. Just the thought of going through this process makes me shiver and I learned to appreciate where I am in life and what I have.

There were no difficult questions really. Only unpleasant interaction with the recruitment manager. Didn't bother to make a good impression.
Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Gartner (Barcelona) en abr 2019
Entrevista
The interview process was composed of five steps.
4 steps were interviews on the phone with recruiters, steps number 3 and 4 including a little sales role-play.
The final step was in person in the Barcelona office with the recruiter that was there since the beginning of the process, a manager and the VP of sales.
Overall, the process was very smooth and I was very well accompanied receiving constructive feedback (very helpful!) from the recruiter between each step.
They really want you to do well and give you all the info you need to succeed.
Special thanks to Roberta !

Describe a time when you showed integrity in your work.
Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Gartner (Egham, England)
Entrevista
4 rounds of interviews:
1. Initial phone call & Gartner Introduction
2. Phone call consisting of "Tell me a time when" questions
3. Continuation of stage 2 with more detail and a phone call role play
4. Assessment day with another role play
From my experience the recruitment process overall was excellent.
It was was well organised and they gave candidates tangible feedback on how to improve. The company is big on coaching and likes people who can take advise and continually develop.
If you have done sales before it should be challenging but not too difficult.
Also make sure you apply for other jobs simultaneously as I feel the company took me more seriously when they knew I was applying for multiple roles.

What's the difference between Gartner and a management consultancy company?
What do Gartner's executive presence, will to win, pathway to gold and clockspeed traits mean?
Why Sales?
Why Gartner?

A 4-stage interview process, with the initial 2 on the phone, the 3rd being video and the 4th and final stage being a panel interview after spending some time in the offices with the opportunity to talk to members of the Recruitment team, and a recently hired salesperson.
