      Gartner places a very strong emphasis on fairness, transparency, and clear expectations throughout the interview process – and this was consistently reflected in my experience. Recruiters are highly selective and invite candidates only when both the profile and mindset are a genuine match, ensuring that no one’s time is wasted unnecessarily. The multi-stage interview process is clearly structured and extremely well prepared. Candidates are thoroughly briefed and supported at every step, especially ahead of the final interview. During the interviews, there is a structured yet open atmosphere that allows candidates to present themselves, highlight their strengths, and actively challenge Gartner as a potential employer by asking meaningful questions. What stood out in particular was the quality of the feedback. Candidates receive clear, constructive feedback with concrete and actionable recommendations, which is rare and speaks to the high professional standards of the company. Overall, this is one of the best interview processes I have experienced in my entire Sales career. Everyone I have spoken to who has gone through the process shared the same impression. Highly recommended.

      4 interviews, some of them useless and a play role managed by HR (not a sales person) with no experience. All the process was interacting with HR with the same interviews.

      It was one of the best interview experiences of my life. I had an interview that lasted an hour, it had different sections. I had to talk about my previous exp, my motivations (why sales, why gartner), it all also had to be presented in a sertaint way eg Star method ets. I had to give life examples of situarions, how i reacted to them and why. the last part was a play-call with a client, i had to study the case for 5mins, and then conduct a call, selling Gartner`s services. The feedback was given along the way.

      Introduction/Motivations: 1 minute elevator pitch about yourself Why Gartner & Why Sales (use Power of 3) Gartner traits (Use a STAR method): here we would like to assess the traits by asking you about specific situations/examples relevant to your sales experience. Tips: Think about powerful examples/ Simplify the info (conciseness) / Sell yourself (share numbers, deals, wins, awards, recognitions, etc).

      *Interview Advice: I encourage you to evaluate your previous experience, especially the ones related to Sales- think about notable moments. I strongly encourage you to review Gartner as a company and have a good understanding of our business and values prior to this interview (see all documents) Think about why this role interests you, and why Gartner as an employer appeal to you. It would be beneficial to structure your answers for the competency-based questions using the STAR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result) and Power of 3 (3 main reasons/keywords which can summarize your motivations and reasons to apply for a Sales role at Gartner). Also, avoid storytelling and show us more process-oriented answers. Be you, be genuine. Avoid filler words, general or vague answers and show us your most personal side.
