      Entrevista

      The interview process typically consists of four or more rounds, depending on the client project. Throughout the process, the Talent Acquisition team is very supportive, responsive, and helpful in coordinating interviews and providing updates. The first two to three rounds are conducted by Gapstars and focus on understanding your background, experience, and technical competencies. Candidates who progress are then introduced to the client project team for the remaining interview stages. The structure and number of client-side interviews vary depending on the project requirements, and the final hiring decision is primarily based on the client's evaluation. In my case, the process included a live coding session, system design discussions, and a final one-on-one interview with the CTO. Overall, the process was well organized and professional, allowing candidates to showcase their technical skills, problem-solving approach, communication abilities, and overall fit for the role.

      Entrevista

      In my entire career, I had the worst interview experience at Gapstars. First, they gave me a practical test and provided feedback that many functionalities were not working. They asked me to fix these issues. Once I had addressed them, they informed me that further changes were required, some of which were not initially outlined. Similarly, they reviewed the functionality four times and requested fixes for different issues each time. Some of the feedback went against best practices, making me feel as though I was delivering a production-ready system. After enduring four rounds of reviews, they scheduled a technical interview for .NET with someone unfamiliar with the platform; they didn't even know what the NuGet package manager was and asked unrelated questions. Following four rounds of code reviews and technical interviews, they informed me that the client rejected the code test. If the client rejected the system, I fail to see the purpose of their four rounds of code reviews. It seems I provided them with a product-ready system for a dubious job posting. I would not recommend engaging with them. Be cautious.
