I applied directly and got a hackerearth test link. They were very easy questions and I got a call back from the recruiter to schedule the interview. I was also getting email spams asking details about my CTC etc at this stage itself and later got a call from another recruiter who was pushing to share CTC details else my application would be rejected. When I told I am not comfortable and should be interviewed based on my skills rather than my package, the recruiter simply hung up. I know a few people who have worked in this company and at that time, the process wasn't like this. The company used to offer good package to deserving candidates. Being treated in this manner during the recruiting process itself showed that I dodged a bullet. The recruiter mentioned that doesn't want to waste anybody's time if my expectation of CTC is too high while I had already wasted my time to give their screening test. This is highly unprofessional and toxic as an employer
