Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en GSK (Londres, Inglaterra) en oct 2016

      Entrevista

I haven't written a review for Glassdoor before but I felt the need to comment on GSK's robotic interview process. I come from a target school for GSK and was visited by their recruitment team on campus for a presentation and networking cocktail. First of all, do not attend these events. It offers no benefit in their automated process. All applicants apply online and are asked to answer 4 essay questions. If you meet the minimum requirements, expect to get an email saying that you have three days to complete three exams. So don't apply on a Thursday or Friday if you are travelling or working on a weekend. You need to complete a personality test, numerical reasoning test and a verbal reasoning test (don't worry, they're all very easy). The numeric and verbal exams are redundant considering every top MBA has to have high GMAT scores. After you pass each stage of the exams, they will get back to you one month later with a request for an automated video interview. Again, you are given 3-5 days to complete this. Their system will send you the email Thursday night, again cancelling your weekend. There are 9 very generic behavioral questions. After the video interview, you will not hear anything for a month. After a month has passed, the system will send you an email telling you the dates of their assessment center (held over two days). They give you two dates about a week apart and tell you to block them off in your calendar (so please cancel a trip you had with your family). The email is carefully worded to let you know you are not yet selected for sure but that they will tell you in the following week. Two and a half weeks later, you'll receive an automated system message saying you've been cancelled from the process. Just to summarize, that is roughly 10-15 hours of prep time on your part over a 3 month time period to not even talk to a human at the company. This is not to mention the anxiety of waiting for their automated messages and the effect their messaging has on your personal plans. I would advise top MBA candidates to spend their time applying to other employers. The time sink of going through the automated GSK process is not worth the time or effort to be held as an option for their recruiting team. The company gets 10's of thousands of applications for these programs so if you have a great resume and attended a great school spend your time elsewhere. Don't sink this amount of time in for a 0.01% chance.
