Two weeks later, the recruiter emailed me, informing me that I was being moved to the Hiring Manager round. The Hiring Manager discussed my background and asked some general questions about data engineering. On the same day, I advanced to a panel interview, meeting several people from cross-functional teams over two days. The panel interview was respectful, and everyone was kind and knowledgeable. There were a few technical rounds followed by questions about my background and resume. Overall, it was a great experience, although I was ultimately rejected for not meeting the role’s expectations.
