Spoke with Recruiter and then Hiring Manager and was then asked to do a project. I spent a LOT of time on the project and thought it came out pretty great. After submitting it, I checked in with them multiple times and they had no updates to provide. 10 days after submitting the project, they said they still had no updates as they were still wanted to meet with a few other candidates before moving anyone forward. Almost 3 weeks after submitting the project, they finally wrote back saying they hired someone and closed the role. When I asked for feedback on the project, they would not provide any. Really insane that I had to spend a whole weekend working on the project to be treated like that in the end with no communication or respect for my time.
