I saw GNY was hiring entry level positions in the paper in March and applied then. They didn't contact me until 2 months later when they asked if I was still interested and called me in for an interview. I went to the interview and interviewed with the recruiter, the trainer, and 2 VP's of the company. The recruiter emailed me a few hours later and basically told me I had the job pending a background check. A week later I got the official offer.

Initial interview with HR fairly standard HR questioning. At the end of the interview the HR person informed me that it was the beginning of the recruiting process and would start the next round of interviews in about a month or so. HR never reached out again. So after about a month I reached out to HR through email about three times to inquire about my status. No response from my HR contact who I email directly. Pretty unprofessional, however I know this happens quite often especially with smaller companies. A simple email “ We are no longer considering your application” in return can go a long way.
