There was a phone interview which I was able to skip somehow and then I was invited for a face to face interview. The interview consisted of a small presentation given by me 2 senior engineers and 2 members of the placement team about myself (basically what was on my CV) which lasted about 5 minutes. I was then interviewed by the 2 engineers; they asked mostly standard competency based questions (tell me about a time when you... Etc.) with a spattering if technical questions related to particular problems and challenges you might encounter making electronics for civil and military aircraft and projects I had mentioned on my CV.
