Applied and heard back swiftly in November 2022, leading me to have an initial call with HR which talked more about the role and what to expect. They also want to ensure your background fits the job description qualifications. Proceeded to take a math assessment, which I felt was irrelevant to the job description as I was being interviewed for a marketing role. A month goes by and I have another call set up with 4 members of the team— a grueling 2 hour long call transpired. Went well despite having to reiterate my background with every call. Another month goes by, now Jan 2023, and I have my last calls scheduled; another round of 3 interviews with senior members of the team. These calls go well, and I am told to wait for more good news to come soon. After a quick call with HR towards the end of Jan, they ask for my salary expectations and to look out for more details to follow. An email also accompanies this reiterating that good things are to come by end of the week. GREAT! Sounds like they are interested in moving forward. I wait a week and a half, wondering where the next steps were? Crickets.. then out of the blue they inform me that the position is no longer available as they are taking a new route and that their budget won’t allow for a new hire at this time. I found the entire process to be pretty unprofessional. Leading me on for 3+ months through irrelevant assessments and round robin interviews, ensuring me that good news was to follow by the end of it. Then I am told they don’t have it in their budget to make the hire right now. Which I only half believe. I think FS should look at reorganizing their hiring practices and not revoke a job this late into the hiring process. Overall disappointed because the team seems to be hard workers and the home office is very nice.

Two 30 minute interviews with the hiring managers. Was pretty behavioral with some detailed questions about how you overcome obstacles in your current job. Was more of a finance manager related position as opposed to direct investments
